Duties
Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and irrigation systems to maintain turf health and landscape features.Perform routine landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, aerating, and edging to keep the course visually appealing.Maintain and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules and prevent water wastage.Conduct regular inspections of the course for hazards or damage, making necessary repairs or reporting issues promptly.Apply pesticides and fertilizers following safety protocols to control pests and promote healthy turf growth.Assist with athletic field groundskeeping tasks for other sports facilities as needed.Use hand tools and power tools safely for equipment maintenance, landscaping projects, and ground repairs.Operate company vehicles responsibly for transporting tools, supplies, or personnel around the course.Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks such as moving soil, mulch, or equipment parts to support landscaping projects.Ensure all safety procedures are followed during power tool operation and equipment maintenance activities.Skills
Proficiency in operating irrigation systems and groundskeeping equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care, gardening, and athletic field groundskeeping.Ability to handle hand tools, power tools, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively.Experience with pesticide management protocols to apply chemicals responsibly while protecting the environment.Skilled in manual handling techniques for heavy lifting tasks related to grounds maintenance projects.Familiarity with company vehicle operation for efficient transportation around the golf course premises.Knowledge of power tool safety standards and routine equipment maintenance procedures.Ability to perform detailed land management activities such as aeration, fertilization, seeding, and edging.Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of golf course aesthetics.Join us in delivering an exceptional golfing experience by ensuring our course remains lush, safe, and inviting!
