About the Role
The Dishwasher plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team and overall dining experience at Laurel Valley Golf Club. This position ensures that all dishes, cookware, utensils, and service items are cleaned, sanitized, and properly maintained to support efficient kitchen operations.
Dishwashers contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing kitchen environment. This role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong team-oriented mindset to support both daily service and special events.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area and kitchen workspaces
Operate dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with general kitchen cleaning, including floors, trash removal, and sanitation of surfaces
Support kitchen team members during service as needed
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment at all times
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Reliability and willingness to support operational needs
Basic understanding of safety and sanitation practices
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role
Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and kitchen operations
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 pounds
Ability to work in a warm, fast-paced kitchen environment
Position Details
Employment Type: Part-Time, Seasonal
Season: April/May through October
Schedule: Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed based on Club operations
