POSITION SUMMARY:
The Pro Shop Team Member is responsible for greeting and welcoming members and their guests. This position is the first point of contact between guests and the facility. Individuals are expected to maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor with everyone.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Answering inquiries and providing excellent customer service Proper use of courts and point of sale software All opening and/or closing dutiesAnswer the phone promptly and politely, take reservations, direct calls to appropriate areas, deliver messages, etc.Assist members regarding scheduling and facility policiesAssist tennis coordinator with daily tasksMaintain organized displays and desk areaMaintain clean indoor and outdoor seating areasMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to work with a wide variety of ages from pre-school thru adultFlexible work schedule (e.g. nights, weekends, holidays) Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environmentMust have excellent guest service skillsMust be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAbility to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situationsMust be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, and fellow team membersMust work well with othersMust take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facilityCommitment to the safety and wellbeing of othersMust be 18 years of age or olderWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
