About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Go-Kart / Small Engine Mechanic to help us bring a fleet of go-karts back to life! We recently acquired a large number of go-karts from another business, and they all need repairs and maintenance. This is a temporary position to start, focused on restoring the fleet, but could turn into a full-time job next year as we expand operations.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair gas-powered go-karts and small enginesReplace or repair worn or damaged parts (carburetors, clutches, chains, brakes, etc.)Perform routine maintenance (oil changes, tune-ups, etc.)Keep track of completed work and parts usedMaintain a clean and organized workspaceWork independently or with minimal supervisionOccasionally assist with other mechanical or facility-related tasks
Qualifications:
Experience working with small engines, preferably go-karts, lawnmowers, or similar equipmentBasic knowledge of engine repair, electrical systems, and general mechanical skillsAbility to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectivelyOwn tools preferred but not requiredReliable, motivated, and able to work efficientlyMust be able to lift and move equipment as needed
