North Shore Country Club is seeking a dedicated employee to join our Grounds Maintenance Team.
Join our dynamic team as a Seasonal Groundskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces. Duties
Hand and Machine Rake Bunkers
Walk Mow Playing Surfaces
Operate grounds maintenance equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, blowers, and power tools safely and efficiently
Hand edging around sprinklers and tee plates
Filling divots on the course and driving range
Hand watering dry spots and sodded areas
Pulling weeds
Seeding and sodding
Maintaining equipment and shop space at a high level of cleanliness
Requirements
Available to work Monday-Friday and at least one weekend day (40-45 hours per week) throughout the golf season.
Prior experience with groundskeeping or landscaping is preferred but not mandatory
Comfortable performing manual labor including heavy lifting and working outdoors in various weather conditions
Excellent teamwork skills. We are looking for a kind person that wants to join an already excellent team!
The open roles are seasonal positions from May through September.
All employees are provided a staff uniform.
Golf is allowed on Mondays after the work day and only on days there are no Club outings.
Pay for this role is $16.00 per hour
