Maintenance Technician – Country Club Maintenance Technician
The Vineyards Country Club is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in a hands-on role supporting the daily operations of our private club. This position is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in preventive maintenance, room PM programs, and general building upkeep, who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs across multiple areas of the club, including dining venues, locker rooms, offices, and back-of-house spaces. This role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and take initiative in identifying and resolving maintenance needs before they become larger issues.
Key responsibilities include performing scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities, completing room PMs, responding promptly to maintenance requests, and assisting with minor repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance. The ideal candidate will also help ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and club expectations, contributing to an exceptional experience for members and staff.
Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role, along with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
This position follows an evening schedule from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, supporting the club during peak operational hours.
Responsibilities:
• Perform preventive maintenance on guest rooms, common areas, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Complete scheduled room PMs: painting, minor repairs, and aesthetic touch-ups.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown including moving furniture, setting up A/V equipment, and ensuring space readiness.
• Conduct routine carpet cleaning and floor care as needed.
• Perform light carpentry and painting tasks across club facilities.
• Troubleshoot and address plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and fixture replacements.
• Maintain pools and spas in absence of pool tech; CPO certification a plus.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Deliver excellent customer service and respond to staff or member requests in a professional manner.
• Show a strong willingness to learn new skills, tools, and technologies as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
• CPO certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Basic A/V setup knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed.
• Excellent Customer Service Skills and must speak fluent English.

Hours:
• Evening Shift - 3:00 pm to close.
Must be able to work weekends.
