Golf Pro Shop Clerk

The Pro Shop Clerk is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests while supporting the day-to-day operations of the pro shop at the Emerald Hills Golf Course. This role includes checking in golfers, handling transactions, maintaining inventory, and ensuring the pro shop is clean, organized, and welcoming. Key Responsibilities: • Greet customers and provide a friendly, welcoming experience • Check in golfers and manage tee sheet bookings • Process payments for green fees, carts, merchandise, and food/beverage items • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pro shop, including restocking merchandise and coolers • Monitor pace of play and communicate with players as needed • Answer phone calls and respond to general inquiries • Support daily opening and closing procedures • Assist with inventory counts (golf balls, gloves, beverages, snacks, etc.) • Uphold course policies and provide general course information to guests Qualifications: • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Interest in golf is preferred but not required • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Availability Requirements: • Must be available to work opening shifts (7:00 AM – 1:00 PM) • Must be available to work closing shifts (1:00 PM – 7:00 PM) • Weekend and holiday availability is required Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand for extended periods • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (cases of beverages, merchandise, etc.) Compensation: • Hourly rate based on experience • Employee golf privileges and shop discounts Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour Work Location: In person
