Position Summary:
Enjoy your summer working at a resort-style aquatics facility at the Lincolnshire Fields Country Club! Here at LFCC we are hiring a Pool Manager to create positive, memorable experiences for the Members and Guest of the club. We are seeking a self-starting, serviced-minded, high energy, engaging individual that will be able to provide leadership to a staff of approximately 20-30 team members.
The Pool Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the pool areas and will oversee all facets of the outlet. The manager must maintain and control a high level of guest service. This is achieved by ensuring consistent and thoughtful service, demonstrated by the pool staff. The manager is also responsible for the hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining of the staff. This is a full-time, "seasonal position" from Mid April till sometime in September based on weather and pool availability, with some part-time work available immediately.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Hires, Trains and Supervises all Aquatic Staff.
• Implement and monitor registration fee structure for aquatic facilities.
• Plans, develops and implements aquatic programs and coordinates staff in the implementation of the programs.
• Provides GM and Director of Marketing with upcoming events for proper advertising.
• Reviews existing aquatic programs and revises or changes programs as needed.
• Schedules various aquatics competitions throughout the year. Approves the scheduling of all aquatic activities.
• Responds to public inquiries about aquatics programs made by telephone, correspondence, or during public meetings.
• Promotes interest and provides information regarding aquatics programs to school officials, other recreation officials, community service groups, other departments, and the general public.
• Oversees the maintenance of the swimming pool.
• Assures that pools are in compliance with Health Department regulations.
• Responsible for reporting mechanical and chemical systems and scheduling maintenance and repairs of the systems.
• Performs minor repairs to chemical systems.
• Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
• Performs a variety of miscellaneous duties such as answering phone, typing correspondence, conducting classes, collecting fees, making arrangements for use of pool, helping set up for classes, events, etc.
• Monitors pool water chemistry through testing of water samples hourly and logs details.
• Monitors and maintains pool filtration system reports all maintenance concerns.
• Reports - Adjusts chemistry as needed to maintain standards.
• Completes new hire safety training and provides certification documents when applicable.

• Lifeguard Certification (Requirement)
• Lifeguard Instructor Certification preferred
• AED / CPR Certification (Requirement)
• Certified Pool Operator (Preferred)

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
