Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to established recipes and standards
Cook and assemble dishes efficiently, maintaining quality and presentation throughout service
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Support menu planning by suggesting new ideas and ensuring ingredient availability
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations
Assist with catering orders and special event food preparations as needed
Serve food promptly and courteously to ensure a positive guest experience
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environment preferred but not required
Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with dietary department tasks or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus
Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude
Willingness to learn new skills related to meal preparation, menu planning, and food industry best practices
