WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE AS OUR CLUBHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER?
Your day as our Clubhouse Assistnat Manager begins by overseeing the seamless flow of clubhouse operations, from ensuring dining and event spaces are member-ready to connecting with department heads and planning the day's priorities. You support your teams through coaching and guidance, quickly addressing issues and championing service excellence. Members look to you for clarity, support, and a warm welcome, while staff rely on you to solve problems, manage competing demands, and uphold standards. You'll lead special events, coordinate with sports activities, support budgets and forecasting, and maintain the energy and professionalism that define Austin Country Club. When the General Manager is away, you confidently take the lead, ensuring the club's operations never miss a beat.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM OUR CLUBHOUSE ASSISTANT MANAGER?
We're looking for someone who can work full-time on weekends and holidays while meeting the following qualifications:
• 3–5 years in private clubs, luxury hotels, or fine dining
• Strong leadership skills with experience in training and motivating teams
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Hospitality, Business, or related fields
• Deep knowledge of F&B, service standards, and banquet/event execution
• Budgeting, forecasting, and P&L experience
• Dedication to a high-touch, personalized member experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• CCM certification
• Experience with private club governance and committee operations
Physical Requirements:
• Extended hours including evenings/weekends/holidays
• Standing/walking for long periods
• Lifting 45 lbs., bending, stooping, balancing trays
• Ability to maintain pace and stamina in a premium service environment
