Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment, ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and food knowledge. Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially at country clubs, is highly valued. Duties
• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Lightspeed POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Assist with food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a clean and safe environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and guest satisfaction
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a memorable dining experience
• Support bussing and table maintenance as needed, including cleaning tables and resetting for new guests
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and restaurant policies to provide informed recommendations
Qualifications
• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales revenue
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; weekend availability is preferred
• Strong communication skills, team-oriented attitude, and a positive demeanor
