About the Role
Job Title: Meeting Room Server (Evenings)
Reports to: Banquets Director
Rate: $16-17/hr+ gratuities (starting rate depends on experience, qualifications, etc.)
Hours: Part-time,20-30 hours per week; hours may shift to full-time during the busy summer season. Hours and schedules to be determined with the hiring manager and is primarily dependent on meetings/event schedules.

Job Summary:
The Evening Meeting Room Server is responsible for providing high-quality food and beverage service during meetings, conferences, and special events that take place at the Clubhouse. This role ensures that meeting rooms are properly set up, guests and members are attended to promptly, and service runs smoothly throughout the various meetings.
Job Responsibilities:
Set up meeting rooms according to event specifications (tables, chairs, linens, AV basics if applicable). Prepare and arrange various food and beverage stations (coffee, buffets, plated service, etc.). Serve food and drinks to members and guests in a professional and courteous manner. Monitor meeting rooms during events to respond to guest needs quickly. Refill beverages, clear dishes, and maintain cleanliness throughout service. Break down and light reset of rooms after events for the next meeting/day. Communicate with the kitchen to ensure timing and accuracy of service. Communicate with the morning server to ensure timing and accuracy of service and proper event/meeting coverage. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude. Willingness to help work other events as a part of the Banquets Team, as needed.
Education and Experience:
Previous serving, banquet, or hospitality experience preferred. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, flexible scheduling. Ability to st and, walk, and carry trays for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs. Team-oriented with attention to detail and basic knowledge of food safety practices. Ability to enter and use the POS system accurately.

Qualifications
Must be 18 years old to serve. Must possess a High School Diploma. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Certifications in Food Handling and Safety, as well as BASSET a plus. Must be able to speak and read English. Have a professional and conservative appearance. Previous related experience is a plus. Excellent oral communication and listening skills. Ability to follow directions Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds and walk/stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
