The server is responsible for providing a five-star member experience, ensuring fast food and beverage service, and maintaining a clean, pleasant environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES • Possess a personality that makes people feel welcome, focusing on providing an outstanding member experience. • Excellent interpersonal, diplomatic, and communication skills. • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Requirements: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE • Basic math skills. • Prior server experience preferred. • 18 years old. • Fluent, written and conversational, English. • Experienced computer user. • Comfortable working outside in a hot and noisy environment. • Must be able to stand for long periods and move freely about the Halfway House. • Frequently lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 40 lbs. Occasionally, 50 lbs to 200 lbs, with assistance. EXPECTED WORK HOURS • This can be a partial-year (8 months) or seasonal position (6 months) from March through October. • Varying schedule that includes weekends and holidays. Daily shifts between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. • Overtime may be required to meet increased membership needs.
