## Golf Pro Shop Attendant/Assistant - $15/hour
We're looking for a Part Time Golf Pro Shop Attendant/Assistant to join our team at Freedom Fairways. Weekends are required for this position, and you'll report directly to the Director of Golf and Hospitality.
## About the Role
Your primary mission will be to serve the needs of residents, visitors, and staff by offering information and assistance in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner. You'll be the welcoming face of our golf shop, greeting Members, guests, and the general public with warmth and professionalism. Maintaining a neat personal appearance and dressing appropriately is essential to representing Freedom Fairways well.
## What You'll Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include answering telephones and accepting tee time reservations for both Golf and Pickle Ball. You'll handle important administrative tasks like counting cash receipts daily, recording those counts in the appropriate report, and turning in receipts to the Freedom Plaza Accounting Department. Completing the Golf Revenue Daily Work Sheet will be part of your regular duties.
Keeping the Pro Shop neat and clean is crucial—this means dusting, wiping counters, vacuuming carpet, and ensuring trash gets to the proper drop area. You'll also play an active role in supporting the company's Safety Program by practicing good safety habits and reporting any unsafe conditions to your supervisor.
## What We're Looking For
You'll need either a high school diploma or GED, or alternatively, 1 year of experience in Golf Operations. Strong mathematical skills are important—you should be comfortable adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing numbers, and be able to make correct change on monetary transactions.
Beyond technical skills, we're looking for someone who truly embraces our hospitality culture. This means greeting residents, employees, and guests warmly, by name and with a smile. You should treat everyone with courteous respect, anticipate needs, and listen responsively.
