JOB SUMMARY:
Join the dynamic team at Andy Frain Services as a passionate and proactive Director of Security Operations. This role is vital in overseeing security contracts and managing a team of supervisors and staff to ensure exceptional service and compliance with our rigorous safety standards. Your leadership will help create a secure environment for all employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining strong relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Ensure the delivery of top-notch service through positive interactions with all clients, vendors, and staff. Lead security operations at assigned client sites, enforcing safety programs, and ensuring post orders are fulfilled. Develop security protocols in compliance with facility policies and legal regulations, and respond effectively to emergencies. Maintain operational knowledge of key safety systems including fire panels and CCTV, ensuring continuous functionality. Oversee the operation of essential communication and office equipment at the job site. Support the training and development of Security Officers and Shift Leads to ensure competency in their roles. Maintain proactive communication with the Operations manager regarding account and staff performance. Assist with payroll and personnel documentation as required. Ensure adequate staffing and security coverage across all posts, inspecting and engaging with staff regularly. Attend scheduled meetings with client representatives to ensure security standards are met and maintained. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Managing Director. EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred. Background check will be required upon conditional offer of employment. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is a plus. Minimum of two years experience in loss prevention, life safety, or relevant security domains, with at least one year in a management role. Valid Driver's License and completion of all licensing requirements mandated by the state. Certification in CPR and First Aid is an advantage. SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Thorough understanding of facility operations and layout as required by clients. Ability to implement all security policies and procedures effectively. Design and manage staffing and security plans efficiently. Recruit, train, and manage a motivated security team to exceed client expectations. Strong ability to handle administrative tasks for payroll and reporting accurately. Innovate and improve safety processes at the facility. Regular collaboration with clients to assess performance and adapt best practices. Maintain up-to-date records of all licensed security officers as per regulatory requirements. Create recognition programs to motivate and enhance employee performance. Engage with local organizations to support community initiatives. Ensure fiscal responsibility for account profitability. Possess knowledge of security operations and management practices. Demonstrate high customer service standards and interpersonal skills. Adapt to varying operational sites and conditions, effectively managing external changes. WORKING CONDITIONS:
