Position: General Manager - Holiday Ranch Golf Club Location: Cuba OverviewSeeking hands-on, high-energy General Manager to lead daily operations of our newly revitalized 9-hole golf course and restaurant in Cuba, Missouri. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while managing all departments, driving revenue, and maintaining a strong team culture. This is a leadership position that requires long hours, especially during peak season, weekends and events. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment and leads by example. Hands-on, visible leader (not an office manager). High energy with a strong work ethic, team-first mindset with zero tolerance for poor service, takes ownership and accountability, calm under pressure and decisive.Experience Required5+ years of management experience in golf, hospitality or restaurant operations.Strong leadership and team-building skills.High attention to details, operational discipline.Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and labor.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays.Passion for delivering outstanding customer serviceEssential ResponsibilitiesOversee day to day operations of the golf course and restaurant.Ensure seamless coordination between golf operations and food & beverage.Maintain high standards for course conditions, cleanliness and presentation.Manage tee sheet flow, pace of play and overall guest experience.Directly oversee Superintendent, Golf Coordinator, Chef/Kitchen Staff, Bartenders & Wait Staff.Hire, train, schedule and evaluate all staff, foster a team-first, accountable and customer-focused culture.Ensure company policies including professionalism and conduct standards.Set & maintain a best-in-class customer experience standard, actively engage with guests and respond to feedback in real time, ensure a welcoming, energetic and well-run environment, handle customer issues quickly and professionally.Drive revenue through golf play, leagues, events and food/beverages sales.Monitor budgets, labor costs and inventory, identify opportunities for growth, promotions, & efficiency improvements.Work closely with chef to ensure quality, consistency & profitability, oversee bar operations, service standards and compliance, ensure strong coordination between kitchen and front-of-house staff.Partner with the Superintendent to maintain top-tier course conditions, oversee clubhouse, patio, and overall property presentation, ensure equipment, carts and facilities are well maintained.BenefitsBeginning salary based on experience.Performance based incentives tied to revenue and guest satisfaction.Additional benefits to be discussed.
