Part‑Time or Seasonal; primarily daytime hours, weekends, and holidays Position Summary The Beverage Cart Attendant enhances the on‑course experience by providing friendly, efficient, and professional beverage service to Members and their guests during play. This role is highly visible and guest‑facing, requiring a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining club standards of hospitality, safety, and accountability. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate the beverage cart on the golf course, providing prompt and courteous food and beverage service to golfers Maintain a clean, well‑stocked, and attractively presented beverage cart at all times Stock, inventory, and replenish beverages, snacks, ice, and supplies before, during, and after each shift as directed Accurately process cash and point‑of‑sale transactions and ensure all charges and monies are handled securely and responsibly Adhere to all alcohol service laws, club policies, and responsible service practices, including verifying legal drinking age Practice safety, courtesy, and awareness while driving and parking the beverage cart on the course Engage with Members and guests in a friendly, professional manner that enhances their enjoyment of the game Promote club offerings, events, and amenities in a natural and service‑oriented way Maintain cleanliness of the cart, storage areas, and related equipment Communicate inventory needs, maintenance issues, or Member feedback to management promptly Support special events, tournaments, and peak play periods as assigned Perform other duties as assigned to support overall Food & Beverage and Golf Operations Qualifications & Experience Previous customer service, hospitality, or food and beverage experience preferred Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, outgoing personality Ability to handle cash, use point‑of‑sale systems, and follow basic accounting procedures Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment Golf course or private club experience preferred but not required Licenses & Certifications Alcohol service certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire) Valid driver's license required Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach throughout the shift Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds Ability to safely operate a motorized beverage cart on course terrain Why Join Our Team Bear Creek Country Club is a very special place.
