Join our dynamic team as a Golf Course Maintenance Worker and play a vital role in creating and maintaining a pristine, beautiful golf environment. Responsibilities
Maintain the health and appearance of greens, fairways, tees, and roughs through mowing, edging, aerating, and fertilizing.
Operate power tools such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with irrigation system management by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules.
Perform landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, weed control, and soil preparation to enhance course aesthetics.
Conduct routine inspections of the course grounds to identify areas needing repair or attention and perform necessary maintenance.
Support general gardening activities by watering plants, applying mulch, and maintaining flower beds around the course.
Use hand tools and gardening equipment to carry out daily landscaping duties with precision and care.
Requirements
Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely while adhering to safety protocols.
Basic understanding of irrigation systems and landscape upkeep techniques.
Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining high standards of course quality.
Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in gardening and landscaping.
Valid driver’s license is a plus; a willingness to learn about specialized golf course maintenance equipment is essential.
