Job Summary:
As a key member of our culinary team, the Line Cook at Miramont Country Club is responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of food items for both individual menu orders and large-scale events, including banquets. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, ensuring each dish meets the Club’s high standards of quality and presentation.
Responsibilities include cooking a wide range of menu items, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and following all health, safety, and food safety regulations. Ideal candidates will have strong culinary skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences. Professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to handle large-volume cooking for events are preferred.

Job Qualifications:
Positive attitude with strong motivation and initiative.
High School diploma or equivalent required; Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Ability to handle stress in a professional and healthy manner.
Excellent time management skills and ability to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Proficient in using kitchen equipment, including dishwashers.
Ability to perform tasks efficiently in a timely manner.
Capable of meeting the physical demands of a typical kitchen environment.
May require protective equipment such as non-slip shoes, apron, and hat.
Licenses and Special Requirements:
Valid Food Safety Certification required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods, walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and reach.
Must be able to perform continuous, repetitive motions.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Able to work in a busy, noisy kitchen environment.
Must be able to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including cold, hot, humid, and wet/slippery conditions.
Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
