Hotel Maintenance Technician

Description: Normandy Farm Hotel & Blue Bell Country Club is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who is interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour based on experience PART-TIME - WEEKENDS ONLY • Saturday & Sunday only • 8-hour shift • Day shift Hotel Maintenance Service Technician Functions: • Maintenance and repair of plumbing systems. • HVAC experience a plus • All Guest room repairs –entry doors, wallpaper, curtains, toilet sink and shower mechanisms, lights and any other repairs as warranted. • Execute a PM (preventive maintenance) program. • Maintain a record of all materials while maintaining a working inventory of parts and supplies. • Availability during off hours for emergencies. • Miscellaneous tasks assigned by department managers. • Occasional extended hour or non-standard shifts required to cover special events and holidays. (No overnight shifts) • Maintain presentable appearance and be able to interact with guests in a manner that is consistent with company standards • Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct • Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management Attends and participates in all training sessions and team meetings • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner Requirements: • Must be at least 18 years of age • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications are a plus • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States • Proficiency in English required • Valid driver’s license required • Minimum of three (3) years of prior hotel experience, with an electrical and mechanical background • Working knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems required
