Server Assistants

Winged Foot Golf Club is a private club with two 18-hole golf courses located in Mamaroneck, New York. Position Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Seasonal Sever Assistants to join our Food & Beverage team. The Seasonal Server Assistants will work closely with Servers to provide food and beverage service to Club members and guests, which includes serving food, and food running. The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, demonstrate reliability, flexible schedule, working weekends, and holidays, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service. Position Responsibilities: Sets up side station and performs assigned side (prep) work. Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating. Fills glasses with ice water Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary. Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction Removes soiled dishes. Clears tables after each course and resets them with appropriate silverware. Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean. Clears, cleans and resets tables that have been vacated. Attends pre-shift meetings Execute all duties in accordance with the Club's established sequence of service and operational standards Performs other appropriate duties assigned by Food & Beverage Manager & Clubhouse Manager Qualification Standards: Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred in club, hotel or restaurant setting The ability to read, write and understand English Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Food safety certification Education: High school diploma or GED Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time Lift up to 30lbs Able to handle hot weather conditions Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per club standards. Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person
