Seasonal Server

Winged Foot Golf Club is a private club with two 18-hole golf courses located in Mamaroneck, New York. Position Summary: We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Seasonal Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. The Seasonal Servers will provide food and beverage service to Club members and guests. The ideal candidate will have a team-oriented mindset, demonstrate reliability, flexible schedule, working weekends, and holidays, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service. Position Responsibilities: · Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon seating. · Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions and takes food orders. · Efficiently serves food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner, offers suggestions menu and wine selections. · Places orders using Jonas System; informs cooks about any special cooking instructions. · Assembles food on tray; procures items from each station as necessary. · Serves meals; places dishes by courses in front of each person. · Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction; · Presents dessert menus, suggests and serves dessert, coffee and after-dinner drinks. · Verify, reconcile, and double-check all member charges for accuracy and proper audit numbers before end-of-shift submission to the Manager on Duty. · Keeps dining room and bus station areas clean. · Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur. · Attends pre-shift meetings. · Executes all duties in accordance with the Club's established sequence of service and operational standards. · Consistently follows local and state laws and the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests. · Performs other appropriate duties assigned by Food & Beverage Manager & Clubhouse Manager Qualification Standards: · Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred in club, hotel or restaurant setting · The ability to read, write and understand English · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously · Food safety certification Education: · High school diploma or GED Physical Demands: · Ability to stand for extended periods of time · Lift up to 30lbs · Able to handle hot weather conditions Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per Club standards. Job Type: Seasonal Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Work Location: In person
