About the Role
Position Summary
The Golf Course Halfway House Attendant is responsible for delivering an exceptional food and beverage experience to members and guests at the Club’s halfway house. This role ensures prompt, courteous service while maintaining the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness, and food safety consistent with a premier country club environment.
The position also involves restocking and managing inventory, receiving and storing supplies, and strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. The attendant ensures workstations and equipment remain clean and assists with additional tasks as directed to support overall Food & Beverage operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and guests.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Club’s POS system.
• Prepare and serve beverages, snacks, and light menu items according to established standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation and prepare items to daily pars.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked halfway house facility at all times.
• Receive, inspect, and properly store all food and beverage products, ensuring accurate reconciliation sheets, inventory control and product rotation (FIFO).
• Uphold strict food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management and co-workers daily.
• Ensure all member chits are processed accurately and signed appropriately.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor reflective of the Club’s standards.
• Support overall Food & Beverage operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Must be ServSafe Certified.
• Must be T.I.P.S. Certified
Qualifications
• Previous food and beverage or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor service environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a member-focused mindset.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
