## Full - Time Private Resort Housekeeper - Weekends Urbana Country Club invites applicants to join a team committed to gracious service and exceptional standards. This is an on-site position in Urbana, Illinois, United States. Schedule and daily hours are clear: you will work Thursday through Sunday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, in a professional, collaborative, and service-driven environment. If hospitality is your passion and you take pride in detail and presentation, this role offers hands-on work where those qualities matter every day. What we look for in a candidate includes a professional and hospitable attitude with service as top priority and the ability to maintain social and cultural etiquette. You should be able to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, demonstrate effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills, and maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards. The posting specifies the ability to lift and carry 20 lbs. and notes that previous housekeeping experience is preferred. Must be able to work weekends and have flexible availability. Routine duties you will perform: - Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures - Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks - Making beds and changing linens - Washing windows - Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs - Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors - Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry - Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies - Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces - Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste - Monitoring cleaning supplies and reporting when more is needed to be ordered - Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements The role emphasizes keen health & safety awareness throughout daily work.
