Seasonal Banquet Manager

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Seasonal Banquet Manager to lead our banquet and event services during peak seasons. Please note this is a seasonal role and hours are limited in our offseason months. This dynamic role involves overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding customer service, and seamless event execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, culinary knowledge, and a passion for hospitality, creating memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining efficient kitchen and staff operations. Duties • Coordinate and supervise all banquet event setups, ensuring proper food presentation and timely service • Manage and help set up for events by moving tables/chairs and setting the facility up for the event • Manage staff scheduling, training, and supervision to deliver excellent customer service and uphold safety standards • Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes, quality standards, and food safety regulations • Ensure compliance with health regulations, sanitation standards, and safety protocols throughout all operations Skills • Proven experience in food service management within banquet or catering environments • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to train and develop team members effectively • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences • Ability to manage shift schedules, budgets, and inventory control efficiently • Leadership qualities with experience in interviewing, training & development, and team management • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures • Experience in managing restaurant or hotel banquet operations with casual or fine dining experience preferred • Strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced setting Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: • Employee discount Work Location: In person
