About the Role
Here at Metedeconk National Golf Club we are seeking a Lead Line cook/Sous Chef with experience In upscale dinner and club experience. We are looking for a motivated cook to work the line and do preparation for events. The perfect candidate will have a broad range of skills included but not limited to grill, sauté, and plate presentation. This will be primarily a pm position but ideal candidate will have flexibility to work other shifts when needed. You will be given guidance and assistance from the Sous chef and Executive Chef.
Essential Skills and Functions:
· Presentation and knife skills
· Always maintaining cleanliness and a prepped station
· Recipe execution and methods of cooking in accordance with Chef's direction
· Broad knowledge of culinary applications and cooking methods
· Assist in cooking of staff and crew meals daily
· Maintenance of a professional appearance
· Interacting professionally with our membership at all times
