Mechanic-golf course maintenance

Your expertise will directly contribute to maintaining pristine playing conditions and a safe environment for both staff and members. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, troubleshoot technical issues, and keep our course running at peak efficiency through your skilled mechanical work. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on golf course equipment such as mowers, tractors, aerators, and irrigation systems Use diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, to identify electrical faults and ensure proper functioning of machinery Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, minimizing downtime and maximizing operational productivity Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and equipment condition reports Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment or upgrades to existing machinery Conduct safety checks to ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and operational guidelines Collaborate with groundskeeping staff to understand equipment needs and provide timely technical support Requirements Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on outdoor or turf maintenance equipment preferred Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and repair guides accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Relevant certifications or training in mechanical repair or electrical systems are highly desirable Mechanics must have their tool, and have knowledge in gas/diesel, two and four cycle engines Join us in maintaining a world-class golf course where your mechanical expertise helps create an exceptional experience for players!
