About the Role
POSITION SUMMARY
The Golf Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the day-to-day operations of Broken Tee Golf Course, including the Championship Course (18 holes), Par 3 Course (9 holes), driving range and practice areas, Pro Shop, and clubhouse. This position focuses on coordinating operational tasks, supporting staff scheduling and training efforts, and supporting programs that enhance the guests experience. Responsibilities include oversight of inventory management and tracking, coordinating social media and marketing campaigns, overseeing league, club, and tournament logistics, maintaining website content, coordinating staff schedules and training efforts, and assisting supervisory staff during peak operational periods. The Golf Operations Coordinator works under the direction of the Golf Manager and supports the implementation of programs, events, and operational procedures. This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility but will assist with operational oversight during evenings or weekends when leadership staff is not present.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operational Support
• Assist supervisory staff with the daily operational needs of the golf facility.
• Provide support to the Pro Shop and Outside Services operations during busy periods.
• Assist with implementing established operational procedures and service standards.
• Support facility opening and closing tasks as assigned.
• Provide limited operational coverage during evenings and weekends when scheduled.
Training and Staff Support
• Coordinate onboarding processes for new hires, including scheduling training shifts.
• Plan the weekly schedules for all part-time and seasonal staff.
• Handle all questions and conflicts from staff regarding the schedule.
• Help maintain and update training materials and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Identify training and staffing gaps and communicate those needs to the Golf Manager.
Inventory Coordination
• Monitor merchandise inventory levels in the Pro Shop.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, and organizing merchandise inventory.
• Maintain inventory tracking records and assist with periodic inventory counts.
• Maintain organized and appealing merchandise displays.
Marketing and Communication Support
• Maintain the golf facilitys social media platforms.
• Develop and schedule marketing posts promoting programs, special events, and facility amenities.
• Update website information, including program information, event details, and accurate golf information.
• Create marketing materials and digital communications, following the Citys and Broken Tees branding guidelines and templates.
League, Club, and Tournament Support
• Coordinate and prepare for leagues, tournaments, and club events.
• Maintain league schedules, registration information, and participant communications.
• Prepare materials such as scorecards, cart assignments, and event documentation.
• Provide logistical support during league and tournament play.
Customer Service
• Provide excellent customer service to golfers and guests.
• Answer questions regarding leagues, events, facility amenities, and programs.
• Assist with resolving basic customer concerns and refer complex issues to supervisory staff.
Administrative Support
• Maintain records related to leagues, tournaments, inventory, and marketing initiatives.
• Maintain operational documentation and data tracking.
• Support special projects and initiatives assigned by the Golf Manager
PREPARATION AND TRAINING Education
• Associates degree in Recreation or Business Management, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field
Work Experience
• Two (2) years of experience in golf operations, recreation, hospitality, retail, or event coordination preferred.
• Experience with social media or marketing tools is desirable.
• Knowledge of golf operations is helpful but not required.
• Basic understanding of staff scheduling practices and employee training methods preferred.
• Certifications and/or Licensures: CPR, 1 st Aid, and AED. Must be obtained within an agreed-upon amount of time and maintained.
• Required Drivers License: Valid Colorado drivers license and a clear or acceptable MVR.
An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant job experience may be substituted.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
• Ability to organize and coordinate multiple operational tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital communication tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and part-time staff.
• Ability to follow established procedures and support operational goals.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale and golf management systems.
SALARY RANGE
$52,444 - $78,666/Annual Pay Rate
This is a full-time position.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Work is performed both indoors and outdoors depending on operational needs.
• Position requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of merchandise and equipment.
• Schedule will include weekends, early mornings, evenings, and holidays based on facility needs.
