As the Executive Sous Chef at Premier Golf & Country Club, you will play a pivotal leadership role in the culinary team, reporting directly to the Executive Chef and assuming full operational responsibility in the Executive Chef's absence. This position involves the comprehensive management of daily kitchen operations including menu development, meal planning, procurement of food supplies and kitchen equipment, and overseeing meal production to ensure excellence in food quality and presentation. You will be responsible for supervising the kitchen staff, coordinating their activities to deliver seamless service that meets the highest standards set by Invited. Your role will be crucial in maintaining cost efficiency, implementing budgetary controls, and adhering to financial guidelines that support the financial health of the Food Preparation Department.
The Executive Sous Chef carries the responsibility of ensuring compliance with all health, sanitation, and licensing regulations, thereby guaranteeing a safe and hygienic kitchen environment. This position is also designed to be developmental, providing you with opportunities to gain the knowledge, skills, and problem-solving abilities necessary for advancement to the Executive Chef position. You will participate in recruiting and hiring kitchen staff, coordinating schedules, and leading by example, fostering a cooperative and high-performing team culture.
In your daily role, you will oversee menu execution and production, ensure kitchen cleanliness, manage inventory and procurement, analyze production reports for efficiency, and uphold workplace safety. Your engagement with club members through table visits and feedback collection will help promote the club's reputation within the community and enhance member satisfaction. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef
