The Executive Sous Chef role at Premier Golf & Country Club is a vital leadership position within the culinary department, reporting directly to the Executive Chef. This position carries significant responsibility, overseeing daily kitchen operations and stepping into the Executive Chef's role when necessary. The Executive Sous Chef is charged with managing the smooth execution of meal planning, procurement of food supplies, organization of kitchen equipment, and the overall production and quality of all meals served. They supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that each dish meets Invited's high standards for taste, presentation, and food safety. Cost efficiency is a critical aspect of the role, requiring the Executive Sous Chef to implement budgetary controls, analyze food and labor production reports, and optimize expenses without compromising quality.
Beyond operations, the Executive Sous Chef plays a pivotal role in recruitment, selection, and staff development, building a motivated team aligned with the club’s goals. • High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a sous chef
• Valid health and sanitation card
