About the Role
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Lunch Line Cook is responsible for ensuring high-quality food, efficient ticket times, a well-organized line, and maintaining kitchen standards. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and sets the tone for a smooth service.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist Sous Chef in every day to day operation
• Execute lunch service with speed, consistency, and quality
• Set up, stock, and break down the line for lunch service
• Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards
• Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Assist with prep lists, inventory awareness, and minimizing waste
• Troubleshoot issues during service and keep operations running smoothly
• Primarily daytime/lunch shifts
• Weekends and holidays
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 2+ years of line cook experience
• Strong understanding of lunch service flow and ticket management
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs
